Head of Solution Engineering 

Toku’s mission is to help companies engage with their customers efficiently. We have helped companies move all voice communications to the cloud and recently embarked on creating products that help companies engage with their customers no matter where their employees are working from.

Toku is currently getting into a scale-up mode. We want to continue creating momentum for our products in the APAC regions and helping customers with their communications needs. As we build our foundation, we are looking for a Head of Solution Engineering to lead our pre-sales team in APAC. Want to be part of our journey?

What will you be doing?

The Head of Solution Engineering will lead APAC’s solution engineering team and provide technical guidance and support to our customers. They will work closely with the sales and product teams to develop solutions that meet our customers’ needs and ensure the successful adoption of our solutions.

  • Scale, lead and manage the solution engineering team in APAC, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to help team members achieve their targets.
  • Work with the sales and product teams to develop and execute effective strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Serve as the technical expert for our cloud communications solutions, providing guidance and support to customers and prospects.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers and prospects.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to ensure that customer feedback is incorporated into product roadmaps and project
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners in the APAC and EMEA region.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies in the cloud communications space.
  • Travel as necessary to support customer and partner engagements.
  • Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts, and other technical documentation.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in solution engineering, pre-sales, project management or a related field in the cloud communications industry.
  • Clear successful track record within Cloud communication start-up environment
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing multicultural teams.
  • 5+years of experience in Voice technology
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong technical aptitude with a deep understanding of cloud communications solutions.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading solution engineer team engagements and driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English; additional fluency in other languages is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
